The rooms at Futuna Rocks Motel are cozy and comfortable. The seating area and flat-screen TV make it feel like a home away from home. I loved having a kitchenette with a stovetop, perfect for cooking meals for my family. The electric kettle and toaster were a great addition. I also enjoyed the garden view from our room. The microwave was handy for quick snacks. The private bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The bed linen and towels provided were of good quality.

I personally found one con during our stay. The kitchenette was a bit small for my liking.

The double room was brand-new and lovely little with a sofa. Comfortable and absolutely perfect location close to beautiful tranquil garden, the main town centre and the bars and restaurants, bars and restaurants were short walk from the hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at the accommodation! The rooms were beautifully decorated with a coastal theme, making us feel like we were on a holiday in the islands. The friendly hosts made us feel welcome and the extra touches like flowers on the towels upon arrival were a lovely surprise. The garden and plants added to the ambiance and made the place feel private, despite the rooms being close together. We highly recommend this place and would definitely return if given the chance.

Everything was pleasant, the parking was on-site, the room was well-kept and well-appointed. The location was handy and incredibly comfortable, so close to the waterfront and overlooking garden. It was also not far from a very pretty garden and beach road and the sea a stone throw. Had a perfect stay for 2 nights, would stay here again.

I would say it's great place for staying and exploring Kaikoura. I have stayed in the double room with Netflix, a couch, and a comfortable sofa. The location is excellent and absolutely perfect, a 10-15 minute walk from Ohau Point Seal Colony. The airport is 10 km away, easy to get to.

We stayed in the garden unit with a stovetop and were impressed with the cleanliness and size of the room. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast and simple dinner meals. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the main town center and right across the road from the beach. The motel had a cozy and intimate feel with only three rooms, making it a peaceful retreat.

Parking at the motel was a bit tight, but there was ample safe street parking available nearby.

this hotel is an interesting place for a trip in kaikoura. the staff is very helpful and the food is delightful. its location is nice, short walk from bars and restaurants. it is found in a gorgeous area and just a short walk from the beach. we would stay here again for an enjoyable experience.

This place had it all! A garden, free parking, and even a barbecue! I felt like a queen with the free WiFi at my disposal. Oh, and did I mention the stunning Clarence located just 34 km away?

Oh, there was absolutely nothing to dislike! I mean, who wouldn't want a tight parking space and the joy of searching for street parking?

The double room I stayed in was nicely set up and had a comfy sofa. The staff was pretty decent and the location was absolutely stunning. Also, I had the chance to visit the nearby Art & Design Gallery, which was just a short distance from here and definitely added some extra charm to my stay. 🎨
